The sea is cobalt blue; the wind is blowing Selene’s hair. She is sat there cross-legged eyes closed. Every problem she’s ever had in her life surfaces to her mind. Storming inside her head, tears start to fall from her eyes. She sees where she’s came from, and where she is now. She feels proud. Her fingertips start to tingle and her head becomes fuzzy. She feels her breath flutter away from chest and throat and enter the atmosphere around her. Her head moves upwards facing the beautiful sky. She releases. Finally feeling at one with the universe and the elements. Her body contorts and cocoons, bursting out as a star and placing herself within the sky above.
